Roles in life

In Our household as in many gay and straight households the chores are divided by skill, desire and necessity. I hate nothing more than laundry. My husband is good with it so he does it in our house. I am a bit more on the like it really clean side so I do most of the household chores such as vacuuming, dusting and cleaning kitchen and bath. When I need help he helps. He makes the bed most mornings. I tend to cook more. I don't understand the defining of the role in any relationship. I can work on a car just as easy as he does and vice verse. I would never say one of us is "butcher" than the other. I find it hysterical that people need to compare to their situation to understand something. Why can't we just accept that everyone can just do what works for them and we don't have to identify things via gender?

did some yardsale hunts last weekend.

found this plycracft chair at a church yardsale. super cheep and in good shape.

the deck

blew off the deck and got it all set up. tried to hang hamock with failure
went to target for a bathroom cabinet above toliet. no luck.
did find some nice lamps for the girl and boy room, nylon tree hamock straps, kitchen trash can, 15' hdmi cause the price was right
swapped out tons of light bulbs for CFL.
the motion sensor swicth in the stairwell apears to be solid state. the CFL and LED bulbs freaked out.
tomorrow i need to swap out a ton of failing and incompatible dimmer switches.

setteling in some more

insanity.
went to close on the house. the seller's wife didn;t show. it seems all married women in cobb county play tennis on thursday
annas linnins had end tables for the girl room, bed spread and pillows for the master, matterse pads for the guest rooms
and curtins for the girl room
hit a thirft store and found the desk for the boy room. want to decopage maps on it.
came home for a bit.
was sent on a lowes/garden ridge mission solo.
picked up a blank door and paint for a headboard in master, magic ladder thing that folds and junk,drywall anchors, knobs for closet doors, some outside chairs, dogbed for livingroom, hammock, and a desk for the girl room
stayed up late getting things setup and settled

final run

picked up last from old house and did final cleaning.
took over a pickup of trash to take advantage of our last paid trash day there
went to home goods and found more of the bathroom hardware that matched the house.
got the garage in a better state


mounted TV in living room and got all of the A/\V setup there. did some pretty work on the guest roms tv's
more moving boxes.
