Assuming this house is as nice as it looks in pictures there is a dilemma. Is it worth another $300 a month in payments to have the house of our dreams with pool and great entertainment space?
Con is the payment is $300 more, power bill will be higher due to size and pool, home owners insurance will be higher because there is a pool.
Pros are we can have some awesome parties, there is room for my brother in law to live with us, We don't have to do any work or buy appliances which we would have to with most places because the upgrades are already there. I would have a pool so I would smile a lot more.
What do you guys think? Really I want opinions and ideas. If you are curious it is the house on collette pictured in the earlier post.
Collette is really nice...but I'm loving the Tree house in Marietta. It is really spacious and airy. There's my 2 cents.

ReplyDeleteok. Old but true...list out the pros & cons..re-do your budget, and if it fits, awesome. If it is your dream house, and you both feel it, the above will help you be reasonable about it. In my opinion, a couple hundred more a month for the dream house is worth it, just make sure it's reasonable, and you can afford it. It is in investment, in your personal & financial lives. Lots of luck you guys, I know you will make the right decision, you are asking the right questions. btw, with the pool....the 'snake' we were talking about, plus having pool cleaning parties would help solve a lot of the maintenance issues.......
